This website is for those who are seeking salons that specialize in black hair care.  Having served in the U.S. Air Force for  five  years, I understand how easy it is to find yourself in a new area having absolutely no idea of where to start.  Sure they may be listed in the telephone book, but all you will find is the name of the salon and a number.  I have found myself riding around looking for signs of black hair salons or people with hair like mine (their hair had to look good) so I could stop them and ask that famous question. 

 ”Who does your hair?”

I am also aware that there are many online directories, but most of them are national online directories or the online yellow pages for areas outside of Hampton Roads.  I am the founder and I live in the Hampton Roads area.  I plan to seek out all of the best salons to include on this website and since I live here, I can do it!
