I had an opportunity to visit Buckroe Beach and Park one afternoon and it was wonderful! It was one Sunday afternoon after church and the weather was great! If you are looking for a nice place for the family to walk, play, and enjoy the feel of the beach without the large crowd and hard-to-find parking spaces, this is the place to visit.
I have teenagers who are in high school and they visit Buckroe Beach from time-to-time for the movie night. I know they are going more for socializing and interacting with other teens, but it is a pretty safe environment with officers who regularly patrol the area. I have more pictures below.
